a gray and white tom cat with golden eyes.
small, but still growing into his fur, cuckoopaw is a pretty attractive tom. He is mostly an ashen gray coloring with splashes of white throughout his body. most of the white can be found on his upper body. this includes a cute splash of white between his eyes that wraps down all the way around his muzzle. he also has what appears to be a white collar or scarf like marking around his neck. all four of his paws are white, including a white tail tip, and a splash of white on his chest. however, his belly fur and the rest of his body are this gray color. as said above, cuckoopaw is still a little small, but he is growing quickly. when he is full grown, he will most likely be an average, stocky size cat with powerful legs and a little longer than average tail.

cuckoopaw is a prideful and confident cat, not only in himself, but also in his clan. he believes - like most clan cats do - that his clan is the strongest and most powerful in the forest. his loyalty is bound to them no matter what will happen. cuckoopaw has the kind of aurora to other cats that he is rude and a bit of a prick, but it's really just his exterior. on the inside, he is a friendly and loving cat, but it takes a lot to get him to open up. with that said, cuckoopaw is a bit of a reserved cat who won't be the one to make the first step toward socializing. he has never been the one to walk up to another cat and strike up a conversation, at least not in his own clan.
when it comes to other clan cats or loners/rogues, cuckoopaw will always cling to a violent approach. on the borders or at gatherings, he is known to spice up trouble with insults and taunts, even in times of peace. within his clan, most cats wouldn't expect such a quiet and antisocial cat to be so forward and aggressive, but he can be in such occurrences. earning this toms trust is hard, even when you have grown up with him. he doesn't like to trust other cats and is a strong believer of the saying - "if you want something done right, do it yourself." he doesn't rely on other cats for anything, and takes most madders into his own paws.

amberpaw // sister // six moons
cuckookit, adderkit, and amberkit were the first litter of the mated couple ashpelt and foxnose. the litter consisted of three kits. the first born was a very, dark gray tom cat who would be known as adderkit for his dark fur that resembled an adder snake. the second was a gray and white tom to be named cuckookit, as his mother believed that it resembled a cuckoo bird. and the smallest and final kit was a dark orange she kit that would be called amberkit for her fur. the family was a quiet one in the clan, not really paying mind to the other cats. ashpelt had been a very reserved tom who had never really gone out of his way to make friends, and only really socialized with his mate, foxnose.
on the other hand, foxnose was a very open and outgoing cat, the exact opposite of her mate. however, amberkit and cuckookit grow up to be a lot like their father. constantly ducking away from the interest of the cats who came to see them in the nursery. adderkit didn't live up to his name at all. while his prefix described a snappy and loner type animal, he was a social butterfly who loved the spot light. cuckookit and amberkit spent their days in the nursery, rarely going out to explore the camp, while adderkit was the opposite.
it wouldn't be long until the kits were six moons and were to begin the lives of an apprentice.
