cherrypaw is your average sized apprentice; not too big, and not to small. however, she is wiry. she has long limbs, and a small abdomen, something she will grow into. for now, she looks just plain awkward. her paws are slightly too big for her body, making her very clumsy, but this too, which change with age. if you can get past the weird frame and stringy limbs, the she-cat is quite pretty, with a beautifully shaped head, and intelligently placed ears. the shape of her eyes, being slightly almond shaped, makes her look sad all the time, when in reality she is probably in a great mood.
now, cherrypaw's pelt Is a cornucopia of different colours. let's start at her paws. all four of her paws are white, along with all of her legs, minus her right front leg. about a quarter of the way up on this limb, the white gives way to orange, with white flecks strewn throughout, almost like that of a orange tabby. this orange patch appears at the base of each of her legs. her chest, neck, chin, muzzle, and up between her eyes is all white. there is a black spot that dominates the right side of her face, which encases her right eye. along the left side of the black spot, there is more of the ginger markings. on the left side of her face, it is flecked with black, white and ginger. the fur on her back is mostly black, but the ginger and white patches are very distinctively running along her rib cage and down through to her hips.
the she-cat has beautiful eyes, always seeming like she is a little too close to tears, as if a powerful sadness has encompassed the young she-kit. they are a very pale yellow, and in certain lights, they give off a green tinge, due to the varying hues of yellow strewn throughout them. cherrypaw's eyes are very expressionate despite the fact that it looks like she is going to cry all the time.

whether she got her personality from her mother or father is up for debate. she possess many of the same qualities as her mother, but just as many as her father. a trait gained from her mother is definitely her indifference about the warrior code and starclan. she has a hard time believing in something that she cannot see, touch, hear or see, but at the same time, she doesn't see why there can't be cats in the sky looking down on them. she is also indifferent when it comes to how people feel about her. if someone hates her, she doesn't care, if someone likes her, she doesn't care. she has never been too concerned with what her clanmates thought of her, knowing there is more to life than whether or not someone likes you. when it comes to her training, she has a hard time caring whether or not she is making progress. she figures that no matter what happens, how poor of a warrior she might be, she will eventually be a warrior, and that is good enough for her.
maybe it has something to do with her indifference about everything, but cherrypaw has an uncanny knack for being rude. there never really seems to be a reason for her rudeness, just something that happens. it doesn't matter who she is talking to, whether it be one of her parents, Morningstar, her mentor, she is just plain rude. now, it isn't known if she means to be rude, or she doesn't put the right inflection in her words, but she really isn't concerned about it. she knows she is part of riverclan, and as long as she helps out around the camp, she is pretty confident that they will put up with her. towards other apprentices, she is even more ignorant, calling them out on stuff they haven't learned yet, and making fun of them if they don't do something properly.
to make matters worse, she is a very loud talker. she doesn't understand the concept of whispering, or how to use her 'inside voice'. for a lot of apprentices, her voice will be the first thing they hear in the morning, when she starts complaining about something sticking in her fur, or how poorly she slept. she pretty much just likes to hear herself talk, and apparently talking really loudly is the only way she can. she often gets chastised during training for using such a volume, but she just shrugs her shoulders and carries on with the same thing she was saying, and the same volume.
now, when cherrypaw gets upset, which isn't very often, she has the very strong urge to flee, and that's exactly what she does. she will turn tail and run as far away from the clan as possible. she has caused many headaches for her parents, especially when she was a kit. they used to joke with exasperation that maybe she should've been born into windclan with how much she enjoyed running. however, when they realized that it was only when she was upset that she would run, they became a lot more careful with what they said and how they said it. unfortunately, being only seven moons old, she has a hard time really interpreting what people are saying, and sometimes she can take something completely innocent the wrong way.
cherrypaw hates hard work, and getting yelled at. this opens the door wide open for her to be super whiny when she doesn't want to do something. but she also whines when she is tired, hunger, et cetera. if there is something to whine about, she will find it and she will not stop until someone gives her attention, or tells her to shut up. if you ignore her, chances are she will just increase the volume of her voice and whine even harder. usually if you give her attention, she stops. but sometimes she doesn't.
