Poppysong | | Skyclan |
She-Cat | | 38 moons | | Queen |
Meet pretty girl Poppysong. This she-cat is a beautiful breed of Burmese. Known for their glossy short fur that is lighter in color for the body and darker markings for face, ears, and legs and their large ears and round amber eyes. Poppysong is more of the original Burmese in color. While others varies now in different in colors Poppysong has copper brown short fur and dark almost black coloring on her legs, face, and ears which are large and slightly pointy. Her eyes are big and luminous the color of a bright bonfire. Poppysong radiates elegance and carries herself like a princess. Her gait is smooth and effortless and her body is lithe but toned always looking presentable.
'Hello, how do you do?'
What can we say about Poppysong? For one thing for those who do not personally now the beautiful Burmese she-cat you'd expect her to be very friendly, happy, and smiling all the time. From afar that is. Until you get close enough to hear what's being said. Poppysong isn't rude don't misunderstand me. She's very nice but she has a tendency to tease mercilessly and jest with a lot of people. She's very much a prankster and mischievous little girl which you may think is scary seeing as she would be a mother someday and is in charge of taking care of little ones. Bad influence? Nah!
Poppysong has a range of personality traits that make her something special. Don't we all? While yes, Poppy is a jokster and loves to cause mayhem; she is not childish all the time. She is a kit at heart but her time as a warrior has taught her discipline. She maybe a queen but she still has a heart of a warrior (well, the part of her heart that isn't childish) being a queen only amplifies and strengthens these traits. She's protective and feirce as a mother bear and will not stand for disobedience or any sort of threat. She's sassy, she's clever, and she has no problem with whooping your tail if you provoke her.
Around the kit's she's nothing but an angel. Gentle smiles and affectionate cuddles but don't you cross her or you may lose something. Her range of personality traits also makes her complicated when it comes to finding love. Not many can handle her hyper-active and easily switched persona.

Poppysong was an orphaned kit left to die at the border of Skyclan. No one knows where she came from only that the brown Burmese kitten was found at the border alone and vulnerable. Being too young to remember Poppysong thinks she grew up in Skyclan like everyone else and never was told she wasn't clan born. Who knows? Maybe she was from another clan or an unwanted addition to a rogue or loner. Whatever the story behind her appearence Poppysong lived her life like any other kit growing up within the clans. She played with the other kits, sat with the elders to hear stories, and curled up to sleep with the rest of the kits at night time. Her kit hood was nice. But there was one problem that the kit was too young to understand until she was older. All the while through her kit hood Poppy never seemed to have a mom or a dad. Yes, the queens took care of her and she'd often play with the fathers who came to visit their own kits but she was too young to realize that she didn't have actual parents.
It wasnt until Poppy became an apprentice; 8 moons old that she started noticing certain things about her life this far. Parents issue being one, how she, although hung out with the other apprentices, she ever really had actual friends. Her mentor was kind and taught her what was needed but she had felt something lacking. Like she really wasnt there.
When she became a warrior that certain feeling grew worse. She was lacking something and didn't feel connected or excited about being a warrior. It was dull. So within the first few moons of being a warrior the brown she-cat requested a change in rank. She figured she'd try something different; and sure enough when she first stepped into the nursery as a new queen she felt at home. Her mood lifted into something happier. From the distant and slightly awkward feeling of detatched to the vibrant queen. She never took a mate after her rank change and she doubts she'll ever find love but she is content in taking care of the next generation of Skyclan warriors; even if they are not hers.
